We’re sorry! We’ve been keeping a pretty big secret from you all…
It all started about a year ago – a week before Christmas to be exact. The bakery was filled with the hustle and bustle of the holidays, except this holiday had some extra hustle and a lot more bustle than usual!
You see, the bakery was a little fuller than normal. In the store, you might not have been able to tell as you were picking up your traditional Bethel Bakery Christmas Cookie Tray (Don’t delay! Last day for holiday orders this year is Dec. 19, 2015!), but in the back of the house we had 12 extra people. And a lot of camera equipment. And a Director. Do you see where we are going with this?
BETHEL BAKERY IS IN A MAJOR MOTION PICTURE! When the cast and crew of ‘Love the Coopers’ came to Pittsburgh last year, they chose Bethel Bakery for some of their opening credit shots.
You may not see any exterior shots of the building or familiar faces from inside the bakery, but you will see what we are known for best – our beautiful and tasty baked goods (including Mr. Walsh’s Infamous Sourdough Biscuits)!
It was an honor to work with ‘Love the Coopers’ Director, Jessie Nelson and her film crew, and we are thrilled to finally be able to share with you some behind-the-scenes photos that have been a year in the making.
See if you can spot some of your favorite Bethel Bakery treats when you go to see ‘Love the Coopers’ (opening today, November 13th) and tag us on Facebook or Twitter with #BethelBakeryLovetheCoopers.
And now, for what you’ve all been waiting for, may we present some behind-the-scenes photos from ‘Love the Coopers’.
